Roll Notes

These photos were from my last two days in Copenhagen earlier this year. The rain wouldn’t let up. I found myself in a garden, a greenhouse, a castle, the train. It was the first stop on my month-long solo trip through Europe, so I wasn’t bothered by the rain. I really love the mood and mystery of the shots in the greenhouse but now that I’m working with my Nikon F2 with the 35mm lens, some of these look a little soft to my eye. I feel that I captured how it felt to be there in this moment, and they reflect the excitement but loneliness I felt when I made them.
