On the Street - Milan
We were only there for three days and it was rain. A pest rain that didn’t empty the streets but left people hiding under awnings, lingering in shopfronts, so focused on staying dry they didn’t notice you standing right there.
When you’re home and it’s rain you don’t want to leave the house. But so much about you changes when you’re in a different place. You’re a different person with more to give, more to find inside of yourself, a better person.
With the rain out I took the streets, firing from the hip when something caught my eye. I never feel like I get anything, but when I finally get home tired and empty and become my worst self again, I find I’m almost always wrong.
